Welcome to the internet home of The Alexandra pub in Farnborough - known by the locals as "The Alex".

The Alex is located in the heart of the town centre of Farnborough in Hampshire. Its convenient location - only 5 minutes walk from the railway station - makes it an ideal stopping point for whatever reason you are visiting Farnborough: Shopping, Farnborough Air Show, Farnborough Town Football Club or one of the many businesses located in the area.

We also have a parking area for customers visiting by car.

Leather sofas for
relaxation and comfort

In April 2008, The Alex was refurbished to give it a lighter, fresher atmosphere. This included the installation of leather sofas to allow customers to relax and unwind in comfort.

The Alex serves food from an extensive menu between 9:00 and 21:00 each day from Monday to Saturday. with a Breakfast menu between 9:00 and 12:00. On Sundays, we offer a traditional roast dinner from a choice of roast meats and nut roast. Breakfast is available from 10:00. Please visit our Food page for more details.

We are now able to offer a limited amount of accommodation in freshly refurbished en-suite rooms. For further details, please visit the Accommodation page.

We also have two TV screens for live sporting events and for background music at other times. For other entertainment, we often host live music, Karaoke and other special themed events. The Forthcoming Events page gives details of planned events.
